Re-election makes Green history

We’re the newly elected Green councillors for Bromborough, Port Sunlight and New Ferry.

It’s an absolute honour and very humbling to be elected by our communities.

Thank you

Wirral Councillors Ruth Molyneux, Jo Bird and Kieran Murphy

I am humbled and honoured to be re-elected as Green Councillor for Bromborough, alongside Ruth Molyneux and Kieran Murphy Work. Wirral Council now has 13 awesome Green councillors, holding the balance of power.

Thank you to 2,497 people who put their faith in me to represent our communities for another 4 years. I won more votes than when I was re-elected as a Labour Party councillor in 2021. Greens vote share in Bromborough ward has gone from 9% in 2021, to 20% in 2022, to 57% in 2023.

With much appreciation to our phenomenal local Green team and communities who work all year round for a fairer, greener Wirral. For our library, train and bus services, safer streets, warm homes, rent freezes, real living wages, opportunities for young people and more.

This historic result shows that Greens can and do win elections in Labour's broken-heart lands. Our past is red but our future is Green.
